Since the ski season has finished, cable car will have new working time from Saturday March 21st, 2026.

During week days, first departure is at 10:00 and the last from Bottom station at 18:30 and from Top station at 19:00. On the weekends and public holidays, first departure is at 9:00 and the last from Bottom station at 18:30 and from Top station at 19:00.

The garage working time is also changing: – on weekdays, entry is from 9:30 to 18:30, and exit is possible until 20:30; – on weekends and public holiday, entry is from 8:30 to 18:30, and exit is possible until 20:30

Working time of the cable car from January 10th, 2026 will be changed.

During the week, the first departure is at 8:00 and the last from Bottom station is at 16:30 and from Top station at 17:00. On weekends and holiday, the first departure is at 8:00 and the last from Bottom station is at 17:30 and from Top station at 18:00.

The garage working time is also changing:
– on weekdays, entry is from 7:30 to 16:30, and exit is possible until 18:30;
– on weekends and holiday, entry is from 7:3 to 17:30, and exit is possible until 19:30.

Ropeway won’t operate on December 15th 2025, due to regular monthly inspection.

Due to regular annual inspection, cable car will not operate from October 6th till October 26th.

Annual inspection and technical examination are determined by cable car manufacturer and they are mandatory by the law.

Annual inspection, which is significantly more complex than periodic monthly inspection, is usually carried out during this time of year due to the expected reduced number of users compared to summer and winter. It includes checks and examinations of all segments such as the drive system, inspection of ropes, towers, brake tests, checks of the main control circuit, and checks of all electronic circuits and sensors…

These are normal periodic activities to meet all technical and safety requirements for the continued safe and smooth operation of the cable car.

Croatian mountain rescue team practice will be on June 25th and it is mandatory by the law.

Dear passengers, Due to strong winds, the ropeway is currently not operating. If the wind calms down, we will resume normal operation and passenger transportation.

Update: wind calmed down so the public operation is expected to start at 13:30 h.

The working hours of the ropeway from Saturday, January 18th, 2025 will be adjusted to the ski season.

During the week, the first departure is at 8 am, and the last from Bottom station is at 4:30 pm, and from Top station at 5 pm.
On weekends (Saturday, Sunday) the first departure is at 8 am, and the last one from Bottom station is at 5:30 pm, and from Top station at 6 pm.

– on weekdays, entry is from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, and exit is allowed until 6:30 pm;
– on weekends (Saturday, Sunday) entry is from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, and exit is possible until 7:30 pm.

To reach the ropeway, citizens can take tram lines 8 and 14 to Mihaljevac, from where line 15 takes them a short ride to the bottom station in Gračansko dolje. In the ropeway zone, there are also bus stops that use bus lines 140 (Mihaljevac – Sljeme), 227 (Svetice – Gornji Bukovac – Gračansko dolje) and 233 (Mihaljevac – Markuševec).

Due to strong winds, the ropeway is currently not operating. If the wind calms down, we will resume normal operations and passenger transport.

For those arriving by car, there is a garage available with over 200 parking spaces on two underground levels. The garage also offers charging stations for electric vehicles.

*Payment in the garage is only possible by card.

The starting station Dolje is located at 267 meters above sea level, the corner station at 308 meters above sea level, the intermediate station Brestovac at 877 meters above sea level, while the Sljeme station is located at 1030 meters above sea level. The cable car can transport about 1,500 people per hour and the length of the route is about 5,000 meters. The carrying capacity of one gondola is 800 kilograms. The gondolas are equipped with ski racks.
